Meadows Museum

In 1965, the Meadows Museum opened its ways to the general population just because. The museum's accumulation of Spanish craftsmanship and the exhibitions for its showcase were a blessing to Southern Methodist University from Algur H. Meadows, a Dallas agent and originator of the General American Oil Company of Texas. During the 1950s business took Meadows habitually to Madrid, where rehashed visits to the Prado Museum roused what might turn into an enduring enthusiasm for the specialty of the Spanish Golden Age. By 1962, Meadows had amassed his very own gathering of Spanish canvases, which turned into the establishment of the Museum's accumulation.
